This means that connecting it to a widescreen television, monitor or projector will result in stretching.The sources i'm using are a Macbook and an xbox 360, and images from both are distorted in the same way. The projector displays an image but is very distorted (see attached) and i'm not sure why.
The projector only has a DVI input so i'm using a HDMI female to DVI male adapter, which is attached to the HDMI cable at the projector end. Unfortunately this connection is not predictable!
